Neural Edge AI is an independent advisory practice that helps construction firm owners assess their operational readiness for AI. We identify where friction lives in your business, map what is causing it, and build a clear path to AI adoption that your team can follow. We do not sell software, take referral fees from vendors, or build technology for clients.
No. Neural Edge AI is an advisory practice. We help you think clearly about AI and build the operational foundation to use it well. We are not affiliated with any tool vendor and do not receive compensation for tool recommendations.
Minu Mohan, a civil engineer with enterprise technology consulting experience across healthcare, logistics, and finance. When you engage with Neural Edge AI, you work directly with Minu. There is no team of junior consultants or offshore analysts. You get the senior advisor on every call and in every deliverable.
02, The Process
What to expect from an engagement
It is a 30-minute structured conversation about how your business runs. We cover your current workflows, where you feel the most friction, what tools you are already using, and whether a formal assessment makes sense. There is no pitch and no pressure. If there is not a clear fit, we will tell you that directly.
A departmental assessment typically runs two to three weeks from kickoff to written deliverable. A full AI implementation blueprint runs four to six weeks depending on the number of operational areas covered. We agree on scope and timeline before any paid engagement begins.
Every written deliverable includes: a summary of findings organized by friction area, a root cause analysis for each identified gap, a prioritized recommendation list, and where relevant, a phased action plan with suggested tool categories. Deliverables are written for business owners, not for IT departments or consultants.
03, Services and Pricing
What is available and what it costs
A 30-minute call, no cost, no commitment. We look at where your operation is and whether a paid engagement makes sense. If it does not, we will tell you what you can address on your own and point you to relevant resources.
Paid engagements are scoped and priced before they begin. There are no hourly rates and no open-ended retainers without defined deliverables. You know exactly what you are getting before you agree to anything.
Yes. The AI Advisory Partnership is a monthly retainer for firms that want ongoing guidance as they implement. It includes regular advisory calls, implementation oversight, and direct access between sessions. It is designed for firms that have completed an initial assessment and are actively moving through adoption.
04, About AI
Honest answers about what AI can and cannot do
Not in the way most vendors imply. AI is most useful in construction as a support layer, drafting, summarizing, flagging, and routing information faster. The judgment calls still belong to people. The goal of every Neural Edge AI engagement is to help your team work with less friction, not to reduce your headcount.
That depends entirely on your workflows and where your friction is. We do not have a preferred vendor list. We recommend tools after we understand your operation, not before. Any advisor who recommends a tool before completing an assessment is working backwards.
Construction errors carry legal and financial weight. Every recommendation we make includes a governance layer, who reviews AI outputs, what gets human sign-off, and how errors are caught before they reach the field or a contract. Responsible adoption is built into every engagement, not added at the end.
05, Is This a Fit?
Who this practice is and is not for
Primarily commercial construction firms with 10 to 75 employees, general contractors and subcontractors who are large enough to have real operational complexity but not large enough to have a dedicated technology team. If your firm is significantly larger or smaller, the free discovery call is still a good way to find out if there is a useful fit.
That is a common starting point. Many firms come to Neural Edge AI after buying tools that are not getting used the way they expected. An assessment in that situation looks at adoption blockers, workflow gaps, and whether the tools you have are the right ones for the problems you actually have.
That is exactly what the free AI Readiness Check is for. It is not a sales call. It is a structured conversation to help you understand where your business stands and whether AI investment makes sense right now. If it does not, we will tell you that.
